Set up your IPTV player with confidence.

These guides explain the supported LibertyVue Player connections and the steps needed to add your own or properly licensed media.

ANDROID / FIRE

Install on TV & Fire Stick

Install the APK directly or via Downloader, open the app and connect an authorised playlist.

  1. Download from the download page
  2. Allow unknown sources, install
  3. Add M3U or Xtream, refresh
LG webOS

Install on LG Smart TV

Install LibertyVue Player on LG webOS 4+ via WiFi from your PC. Requires Developer Mode on the TV.

  1. Enable Developer Mode — On your LG TV: Settings → General → About TV → click "webOS TV version" 7 times → Developer Mode will activate
  2. Restart TV — Turn off and on again
  3. Get TV IP address — Settings → General → About TV → Network → note the IP (e.g. 192.168.1.50)
  4. On your PC, open terminal and run:
    npm install -g @webos-tools/cli
    ares install 192.168.1.50 com.libertyvue.player_0.16.0_all.ipk
  5. Open LibertyVue — Find it on your LG Home screen

  • Xtream — server + login, faster + EPG

CH +/− or arrows zap without leaving playback. OK opens categories and the channel list. Back returns to the library.
